A Day In D.C

12:22 PM

Why, hello everyone! For my very first day of fourteen, me and my parents headed to Washington, D.C to do some sight-seeing. First we visited the Smithsonian American Art Museum, which, by the way, I'm not sure if I read about a portrait under eighty years old (please forgive the blurriness)

This painting was amazing. It is of a park in California. These two photos below are of the same art piece.

A copper statue of George Washington.

I thought this was kind of cute ^

If you look close, there are peacocks in the glass design.

We also visited the oldest house in D.C, the 'Old Stone House' built in 1765. It is in Georgetown.

The garden.

....Anddd the little birthday cake me and my Mom made. Hope you all enjoyed the pictures, and, tell me which was your favorite!!! I'd like to know ;) For a brief update...CampNano is almost over (whaaa?) My story Sea Fair is just above 48,000 words, and currently I am learning to write calligraphy. God Bless and have an absolutely lovely, fantastic day!
