Operation Christmas Child

9:00 PM

Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child is coming back around! It's coming close to that time to pack a box! I'm very excited about this, especially because now you can actually track your box, and find out where it is. To track a box it cost $7, and to ship a box it cost $7.

Packing a box is not just a thing to give children joy, but it's also A LOT of fun. Picking out presents and picturing little children, who may have never had any presents, opening your box. Oh!
Here's a few tips on how to pack a great shoe box.

Hygiene

(non-liquid) toothbrushes, combs, washcloths, bar soap, towels...

School Supplies

Pens, pencils, crayons, sharpeners, erasers, notepads, markers, solar calculators, paper...

Accessories

T-shirts, jewelry, sunglasses, hair clips, ponytails, flashlights (with extra batteries),

Toys!

a "wow" toy (bigger doll, stuffed animal, football, etc.) yo-yo, toy car, hard plastic cup, jump rope, mini puzzle, mini slinky...

There's a few things, but also think of what you would want in your stocking at Christmas. If you want to wrap your box in Christmas paper, wrap the lid and the box individually and close them up with a rubber band. Also remember to add the gospel, and maybe a letter or a drawing. Help spread Jesus!!!!!!!!!
PS: Any unique shoe box-gift ideas?
