Flower Pinata
6:37 PMSo, heres how to make the pinata I had at my birthday party. Of course you can add your own twists to it! It's a really easy flower one, but we messed up on one of the sides, so if you want you can do both sides with colored rings instead of one side rings and one side stripes.
Step 1
get some cardboard boxes-cereal boxes work good. Cut them into the shape you want the sides of your Pinata to be-for instance, for the flower pinata we cut two ovals and then slivers for in between them. after your done, tape one half and your slivers together, then put in candy. Afterwards tape the other half on.
Step 2
Now comes the kind of fun part-and that is putting on the tissue paper. Cut pieces of tissue paper into long pieces and then cut them into little squares. Use school glue to dab a dot on the cardboard where your going to put the tissue paper. Put your finger into a square of tissue paper and kind of squeeze it with your other hand till it has a flower-like look(not all of them will). Then press it onto the glue dot!

Step 3 (optional)
Once your done tissue-papering your Pinata, if your doing a flower you can cut out cardboard petals and tape them onto the sides. Instead of tissue-papering these, just lay your color of tissue paper over them after putting glue on the petals.
Step 4
Take a craft stick and put two holes in each end, and slip twine or string threw them, tying them tightly. Then cut a hole in the top of the Pinata and slip the craft stick threw, and pull the strings upwards, making the craft stick face horizontally. after this you can tie something stronger to the string.
Thanks & enjoy!!!!
