A Valentine's Novel

This book was a wonderful collaboration of humor and romance, all together in fifteen little stories. One of my favorites had to be Aunt Philippa and the men, because Aunt Philippa is just the funniest character in the whole book, as she tells her Niece that "all the good Husbands are over there" pointing towards the graveyard. The Pennington's girl was so interesting, as the hired girl Nelly really turns out not to be what high class Winslow thinks. The Pursuit of the ideal, was so cute, I think a movie should be made out of it- Roger had his 'ideal' from the beginning. Them Notorious Pigs deserves a movie of it's own, with the story of the dear worried, husband-less Mother and her at first quite grouchy neighbor. All the stories in this book are so cute, don't let me spoil them for you; but it's some more of L.M Montgomery's romantic tales wrapped up into one book.
Have a Lovely Valentine's Day!
