How to make Christmas tree pinecones

What you will need..
  1. Pine cone 
  2. Newspaper (or grocery or any type)
  3. Paints; Acrylic or fabric are good
  4. Decor; sparkles, feathers, ribbons..etc 
  5. Paintbrushes
  6. water in a cup (this is for the brushes:)
  7. Paper towel                                                                                                                                    
                                                              Instructions

Paint the pine cone your selected color, then let dry(this is optional). Take another color, or the same and squirt it onto the outer part of its branches. For example, in the picture above left, I used gold on a red pine cone. This is actually pretty enjoyable, because you kinda of feel like your icing a cake. When your done "icing" your selected (or all) branches, Take the same color and make a egg-shape on the pine cones stem. This is for a leaf (NOT a real leaf) to sit in.  pick a color leaf that matches your pine cones main color and try to place it in the middle of the egg glop. And your done!
